The alligator is a dangerous predator with exceptionally powerful jaw muscles. Only the white shark can bite more difficult than him. The interesting thing: Only the muscle tissue that close the jaws are extremely strong. The muscles that open the snout are so poor they can become closed with quick tape. In comparison to the saltwater crocodile, alligators are smaller and much wide. They live just in rivers and lakes in the south-eastern part of the United States and China.
