The Andalusian is just a racy, elegant horse. Actually the breed is called "Pura razza espanola", in English "pure Spanish reproduce".In the 15th century, monks started to breed the Andalusians in the south of Spain. With its graceful appearance, it enchanted especially nobles and kings. Therefore, just few would guess that the Andalusian features for ages been used as a cavalry horse. Although it was constantly recognized for his courage and power, it is quite their elegance that distinguishes it. It is just a unique dressage horse and even dominates the famous leap into the atmosphere, which is otherwise understood only from the bigger riding school of the Lipizzaner horse. The Andalusian is known for the elegant curve of their neck.
