Conjuring shades of King Krule and Mac Demarco, lovable larrikins and formidable Brisbro’s Arpier have been sitting on material for a long time, and are finally ready to put it out into the world. Since starting as a duo in high school, the freshly minted four-piece have just released their debut EP – Ordinary Life, and want you to come sink some tins with them, with friends Oliver Wightman and Yeaman Shore coming along for the ride. Moses Gunn Collective ‘Dream Girls’ Single Launch @ The Brightside, 26th August

Brisbane’s favourite psychedelic party merchants Moses Gunn Collective have followed up their 2015 Mercy Mountain LP with new single ‘Dream Girls’. A glittery piece of early 70’s style psych-pop, the monumentally infectious track will no doubt lull the entire audience into a trance at their upcoming Brisbane show. Joined by alt-rockers Mid Ayr and harmonic dreamweavers Nice Biscuit, the night’s gonna get real weird.  Price: $18.40
