Hope for the Homeless @ The Triffid, 5th August

What’s better than a live gig? One that donates its proceeds to a charity of course! Hope for the Homeless has been organised by a bunch of Grade 12 students in order to help homeless people live life more comfortably. All proceeds on the night will be donated to 139 Club and of course, you’ll also get to hear some awesome live music. Jungle Love Launch Party @ The Triffid, 6th August

If you haven’t heard, we are a big fan of Jungle Love. We will be attending the festival again this year, but if you can’t make it up for the full thing, be sure to check out the launch party. Bonus! BTM Presents – The ‘Mixed Bag’ @ PCYC Mt Gravatt, 6th August

This Saturday is all about supporting local Brisbane gigs. This event features, as the title suggest, a complete mixed bag of local music. BULK MUSIC #7 @ The Back Room, 7th August

You know an event is going to be great when it’s coming back for its seventh instalment. Bulk Music is exactly what it sounds like, a heap of music that’s sure to please the music tastes of just about everyone. Featured artists include Wheather Permitting (Rap), Eye on Stone (Australiana), Down the Kings (Progressive Rock), The Reprints (Rock, Blues) and Charlie Stewart (Rock). Julia R. Anderson, Cloud Tangle, Dream City, Moodie Gloom @ The Foundry, 7th August

Here’s something a little different to top off your week. This event will be a night of live music and visual experimentation.
