Sometimes events come around that seem too good to be true. The first installment of five bands five bucks was everything we could have dreamed of, so it is definitely a must see this week. RAAVE Tapes (EP Launch) @ The Bearded Lady, 1st July

RAAVE Tapes are the Newy band who are making a name for themselves in the Brisbane music scene.  They are celebrating the upcoming release of their debut self-titled EP, and are ready to go crazy. The Lou Dogs – A Tribute to Sublime @ New Globe Theatre, 2nd July

The Lou Dogs – A Tribute to Sublime, are kicking off their East Coast Tour! Starting in Brisbane, the ‘Love We Found’ tour is set to be one massive party. The band will be supported by Timber Bones, Hightide and Secondhand Toothbrush. For more information, check out the event page here. Price: $15

The Creases @ Woolly Mammoth, 2nd July

HaHa SingSong #4@ The Foundry, 3rd July

Sometimes you need something a little different to satisfy you on a Sunday night. The fourth instalment of HaHa SingSong is guaranteed to make you laugh, with comedians Damian Power, Dan Rath and Ashwin Segkar performing on the night. Where is the music you ask? Stonefield @ Woolly Mammoth, 7th July
