Garage band Dead Shades due to reunite
To celebrate being together in the same city, garage band Dead Shades are reuniting for a live show. The trio will be showcasing their dirty rock style music at the Bearded Lady on Saturday October 17.
Supported by Vulture Circus, Acid on Andy and Nowhere to Run DJs, this $10 show is one alternative rock fans won’t want to miss. The reunion comes as a surprise, as we haven’t seen Dead Shades perform a live show since 2013. With each member exploring different music avenues over the past few years, it’s exciting to see how they will reconnect with their audience live. This show turned party is expected to be filled to the brim with sweaty, happy music lovers making the most of their Saturday night, with groovy psychedelic visuals only adding to the hectic experience.
Dead Shades often confess their undying love for shandies, so alcohol will definitely be a contending factor in the success of the show, whether good or bad. No matter how messy the night gets, the combination of Dead Shades’ deep indie rock with and the experimental rock/post-rock sounds Vulture Circus and Acid on Andy have to offer is sure to be an interesting one.
The event also marks the beginning of the campaign to release their new EP, Garage A Trois, through crowd-funding. Tickets are limited so get in fast, but if you can’t make it to this show, don’t fret. Dead Shades are planning more shows on the East Coast to compliment the scheduled release of Garage A Trois this summer.
